Last updated: 11 October 2026
Genesis Digital (“Genesis Digital”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through genesisdigital.in, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and, where they apply to you, other data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR and Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.
1. Who we are
Genesis Digital provides travel content operations, smart tourism technology and digital visitor experiences for travel platforms, hospitality brands and tourism organizations. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@genesisdigital.in.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send an enquiry through our contact form we collect your full name, company name, business email, country, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, your budget range (optional) and your project description. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security systems record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of each request. We use this only to keep the website secure and working.
Analytics, only with your consent: if you accept analytics in our cookie banner, Google Analytics records how you use the website (pages viewed, time on page, approximate city or country, device, browser and how you arrived). We do not use advertising pixels or remarketing, and we do not collect sensitive personal information through this website.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, discuss your project and prepare proposals
- To communicate with you about an engagement you have started with us
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (analytics, only with your consent)
- To protect the website against spam, fraud and attacks
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal basis
We process enquiry information on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our contact form, and to take steps you request before entering into a contract. We process analytics data only on the basis of your consent given in the cookie banner. We process technical data for our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only as far as they need it:
- Website hosting provider, which stores the website and its data
- Email service provider, which delivers enquiry notifications to our team
- Wordfence (Defiant Inc.), our website security service, which processes IP addresses to block malicious traffic
- Google Analytics (Google LLC), only if you accept analytics cookies, to measure website usage
- Google Fonts (Google LLC), which serves the fonts on our pages and receives your IP address when a page loads
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), only if you choose to contact us through the WhatsApp button; WhatsApp’s own privacy policy then applies
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers above may process data outside your country, including outside India. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer and transfer data only as permitted by applicable law.
7. Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them in our cookie banner; until then, analytics runs with storage denied and sets no cookies. We store your banner choice in your browser so we don’t ask again. Strictly necessary cookies are used only when an administrator logs in to manage the website. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Full details, including how to change your choice, are in our Cookie Policy.
8. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for up to 30 days after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for as long as the engagement requires, or unless a longer period is required by law (for example, for tax or accounting records). After that period we delete it. Security logs are kept for a short period and then deleted automatically. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting of our Analytics account.
9. How we protect information
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), a security firewall, spam protection on the contact form and restricted administrator access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires it.
